The underside of your violin is larger then the topside. This gives it kind of a cubist look, but I don't think that's what you're going for. Basically, on the left and right side of the violin we shouldn't be able to see any of the sides of the violin because it should be parallel to our view...if that makes any sense at all...
I also think his face might be a bit too long. It might just be that his nose is too long. Try and erase the bottom of his nose and let it be implied to be there, and maybe raise his mouth a bit? I don't know, you'd have to play with it to see what works best.
Also violin bows are crazy long, like longer then the violin. Use and abuse that. Give it a really dramatic pull at a crazy angle. That is assuming you want an action shot...
Anyway, its a cool and fun idea. Keep up the keepin' on.
